How to get to Molfetta

By Plane

Molfetta is a town located in the northern side of the Metropolitan City of Bari, Apulia, southern Italy. The closest airport is “Karol Woityla” International Airport Bari – Palese, but there are other three airports in the Apulia region; Brindisi, Foggia and Taranto (see map below). To get to Molfetta from the airport, the best option is to take the train.

By Train

The National Rail System, Trenitalia, offers you connections from all over Italy. The easiest way to arrive to Molfetta, is to take the train from “Bari Aeroporto” to “Bari Centrale”, which costs 5€ and takes 20 minutes and 5 stops, and from “Bari Centrale” to “Molfetta”, which costs 1,80€ and takes around 15-25 minutes. From Molfetta you can easily visit other famous and well-known cities by train.

By Road

The main motorway connections are A/14 and A/16. Traveling by car is the best option if you are planning to visit the Puglia region in a short period of time.
